Good to know

The Vibrant Victorian is uniquely set up for groups who want to be together without being on top of each other. Two full kitchens, two living areas, and two dining spaces mean you're never competing for the coffee maker or the couch — and if part of your group keeps different hours or just needs a quieter corner, the three-level layout makes that easy. MAIN LEVEL The social heart of the home: - Living room with 65" 4K Roku TV - Dining area - Full kitchen with cozy eat-in nook - Bright, airy bedroom with king bed - Bedroom with two twin beds (great for kids) - Full bathroom with tub/shower combo TOP LEVEL The quieter, more private floor: - Open office area with monitor, keyboard, and ergonomic chair — great for anyone who needs to sneak away for a call or a few hours of work - Full-size washer and dryer - Spacious bedroom with king bed and large 4K Roku TV - Full bathroom with walk-in shower LOWER LEVEL Where the fun happens: - Second full kitchen - Second living area with large Roku 4K TV - Dining area with vintage arcade machine (a house favorite) - Bedroom with queen bed and Fire TV - Bedroom with queen bed - Full bathroom with extra-deep soaking tub/shower, heated floors, and full-size stacked washer/dryer THE YARD - Patio with seating for 10 - Cornhole game The three-level layout means groups naturally find their rhythm — some claim the lower level, others take the top floor, everyone meets in the middle. Family-friendly touches include a high chair, children's dinnerware, books and games for a range of ages, and a Pack ’n Play/travel crib. The home also has AC, heating, portable fans, room-darkening shades, and two laundry areas for added comfort on longer stays. Free parking in the back (for a standard sized vehicle) and free street parking mean no additional expenses for your vehicle(s).

House Rules

This is NOT a party listing. Gatherings, get togethers, or events in the home or outdoor space with people outside of registered guests require permission. Quiet hours last from 10pm to 8am daily. At all times, please be respectful of our neighbors and refrain from excessive noise, especially when using the outdoor spaces. Please be aware of noise levels when coming or going from the home late at night. Smoking/vaping (of anything) is not allowed inside the home or in the outdoor spaces. Smoke on the sidewalk if needed. A fine of $1000 will be charged for smoke smell or evidence of smoking/vaping and you will be responsible for canceled bookings due to smoke mitigation. Early check-in or late check-out must be approved in advance and often is not available due to back-to-back bookings. If you or your belongings remain past your check-out time, a fee equal to the listing base rate will apply. This charge does not award you possession for an additional night – you still must vacate immediately. Due to party risk, local guests (within 50 miles) must disclose at time of booking and share details of why the rental is being booked. The person who booked the reservation must be present at check in and must stay for the duration of the reservation. Only registered guests are allowed to stay overnight. Pets and Emotional Support Animals are not allowed in the home or outdoor spaces. If evidence of a pet is found, a fee of $500 will be charged, the pet must be removed immediately, and the reservation may be canceled. Commercial meetings and commercial photo/video shoots are not allowed, per city regulations. Violation will result in a $1000 fine and immediate removal from the home. Leaving the home excessively dirty will result in a higher cleaning fee. For reservations 2 weeks and longer, a cleaning will be required every 7-10 days charged at the posted cleaning fee rate. No packages or mail are to be delivered to the home. A stay does not qualify as residency. If our cancellation policy does not provide the flexibility required, appropriate travel insurance is highly recommended. Shifting reservation dates to attempt to circumvent the cancellation policy will not be accepted. In order to minimize the prospect of lingering odors for future guests, please always use the hood fan when cooking and avoid deep frying. You may park one vehicle in the driveway off the alley, although please note that very large vehicle may not fit. Additional parking on the street is free. Do not park in or block neighboring driveways. If guests identify an issue with the property, hosts or their delegates are authorized to enter the property to resolve the issue. Violations of house rules are grounds for removal from the property without refund.

Neighborhood

The Boise neighborhood is sometimes referred to as "Boise-Eliot" and is located on the east side of the Willamette River. Portland's Boise-Eliot neighborhood is one of the most unique and most popular Portland neighborhoods. Most locals know Boise-Eliot by a few names: Williams Avenue and Mississippi Avenue. While technically both part of the same neighborhood proper, these two streets have truly developed their own unique personality and feel with respect to the independent businesses that line their streets and the folks who frequent them. Our neighborhood prizes diversity, independence and entrepreneurialism. Locals know each other and support their local businesses. A mix of renters and owners, singletons and families. In Boise-Eliot you'll discover independent retail and boutiques. Around the corner from the home (3 blocks and less away) are the award-winning Eem (Thai BBQ), Life of Pie (pizza), La Cocina (Mexican), XLB (Chinese), EaT (oyster bar), Lua (Vietnamese), Kayo's Ramen, plus .... so many others. Creative locally owned shops include vintage, chocolate, housewares, plants, barbershops, yoga studios, and more. Not enough for you? Walk a few blocks to Mississippi Ave for breweries, wonderful restaurants, boutiques, and food carts aplenty. New Seasons Market (similar to Whole Foods) is just a couple blocks away.

Guest Access

You will have access to the entire house: three floors with five bedrooms, three full bathrooms, two laundry areas, two kitchen areas, four televisions.

Parking is free on the street although in busy times you may not be able to get a spot immediately out front of the home. A spot within a block is typically feasible. Many amazing neighborhoods are a short walk away. Countless additional not-to-miss areas are a quick 10-15 minute drive. Great access to buses to get you anywhere in the city if you’d prefer public transit to driving/Uber/Lyft or walking. Easy access to freeways and other thoroughfares.
